Location: Conover, NC 28613
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour ON W2
Shift Timings:7AM-7PM

Schedule (4) days off, (4) days on

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Sheeting Utility to support finishing operations at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will assist with material preparation, roll handling, housekeeping, and production support while following all company safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare rolls for sheeting and finishing operations.
• Split cores and assist with material handling activities.
• Identify different board grades accurately.
• Perform banding of finished materials.
• Operate the roll pusher safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager.

Safety Requirements

• Wear required PPE at all times, including safety glasses, steel/composite-toe shoes, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Wear a bump cap when required by company policy.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Participate in the company's safety participation program.
• Practice "Let's Talk Safety" by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
• Follow the S.T.E.P. process: Stop, Think, Evaluate, and Plan.
• Comply with all company Safety Absolutes .
